Silvus StreamCaster Radio Integrated to the Skyborne Technologies Cerberus MI sUAS

Brisbane, Australia – April 8, 2025 – Skyborne Technologies, a leading innovator in AI targeting effectors on unmanned systems, is proud to announce the successful integration of the Silvus StreamCaster radio into its Cerberus MI lethal small unmanned aircraft system (sUAS). This integration marks a significant advancement in the capabilities of the Cerberus MI, enhancing its communication and operational efficiency.
The integration was contracted by the US Marine Corps (USMC) to achieve network interoperability as the Cerberus MI sUAS commences testing and evaluation by USMC end users.
The Cerberus MI, known for its modular recoil robust design and multi-mission capabilities, now benefits from the Mobile Ad Hoc Networking (MANET) radio communication provided by Silvus Technologies. This integration ensures seamless and secure data transmission, even in contested environments, thereby enhancing the operational effectiveness of the Cerberus MI.
The US Program of Record Silvus MANET radio provides mission-critical communication expanding into unmanned applications, where high quality communication is critical in contested and congestion operation environments.
"We are thrilled to integrate a capable MANET radio like the Silvus StreamCaster into our Cerberus MI sUAS," said Adrian Dudok, CBO and co-founder of Skyborne Technologies. "This integration not only enhances the communication capabilities of the Cerberus MI but also reinforces our commitment to the warfighter and the wider US DoD. We thank the US Marine Corps for their continued support and the advancement of the Cerberus MI sUAS to better enhance the warfighter."
The Silvus StreamCaster radio is renowned for its high data rate, long-range communication, and robust performance in complex environments. Its integration into the Cerberus MI sUAS will provide users with enhanced situational awareness, improved command and control, and the ability to execute missions with greater precision and efficiency.
The Cerberus MI sUAS, equipped with the Silvus StreamCaster radio, is now available for deployment. Skyborne Technologies remains committed to advancing the capabilities of its UAS platforms and delivering innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of its customers.
