Skyborne attends IDEX 2019 in Abu Dhabi
In late February, Skyborne attended the IDEX Exhibit 2019. What a show! The opening ceremony involved over 50 armoured vehicles, 8 fighter jets and 5 helicopters, not to mention an amazing pyrotechnic display.
We had official visits from His Highness Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Head of State for National Security and Vice Marshal Ibrahim Nasser Mohammed Al Alawi, head of United Arab Emirates Air Force.
Cerberus GL received much focused attention from defence forces across the globe and we can now move forward with our business model in confidence. In the entire exhibit, Cerberus was the only man-packable multi-shot UAS. The loitering munitions market is becoming crowded and is currently engaged in a pricing war. Kalashnikov for example, have produced a fixed-wing cruise missile at a fraction of the cost of Aerovironment's Switchblade.
The advantages of Cerberus GL over loitering munitions were clearly and easily understood by all our visitors, including cost per shot (price of a standard 40mm grenade round), speed of projectile onto target, the ability to perform ISR after the fire mission and operational flexibility.
Many thanks to those that assisted in our preparations and our exhibit, including the Skyborne Engineering team and Algorythma. Also thanks to Team Defence Australia for their function invitations throughout the week.
