Skyborne Awarded a Sovereign Industrial Capability Grant for Advanced Weapon Capability

Skyborne Technologies is delighted to be awarded a Sovereign Industrial Capability Program grant from the Australian federal government for advanced weapons development and manufacture.

The $462,690 grant allows Skyborne to acquire advanced manufacturing assets, on-board the former Metal Storm armourer, achieve the appropriate weapons licenses and develop advanced weaponry for Cerberus GL UAS.

Skyborne's directors would like to thank the Centre for Defence Industry Capability and the Australian Defence Force for their support of this project and the Federal Government generally for putting this program in place.

CEO Dr. Michael Creagh said "We are very impressed with the fast turn-around of the SICP grant process, which aligns very well with the fast pace of innovation at Skyborne. The flexibility of operations this weapon enables with Cerberus will give us a keen edge in the market."
